Funds will only be allocated to support children, programs and projects that:
- directly alleviate the effects of poverty and disadvantage on vulnerable young children.
- are delivered within the Frankston City Council and Mornington Peninsula Shire areas.
- provide services that support young children in community kindergartens that align with SEED4YC’s values.
- are aligned with SEED4YC’s Strategic Plan and help us to achieve our goals and objectives.
Our giving program will consider individuals, programs and projects that:
- comply with the mandatory criteria for funding; and,
- deliver innovative projects that directly contribute to children’s education, care and well-being;
- provide for equipment and resources;
- develop and publish innovative resources and educational materials;
- undertake and champion research in early childhood development and vulnerability;
- fund additional staff resources to support participation.
We will not fund:
- Programs for children that are not enrolled or attending Victorian Government funded kindergarten programs.
- Programs or projects that operate outside of Frankston City Council and the Mornington Peninsula Shire local government areas.
- Building projects or general maintenance works.
- Programs for children who do not meet SEED4YC’s participation eligibility criteria.
- Organisations operating for commercial gain.
