The Australian Early Development Census released data in 2018 clearly showed that there are issues arising for children in Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula in relation to development and readiness for school.

The data below indicates the percentage of children ‘at risk’ or ‘vulnerable’ in relation to the ‘physical health’ domain, which refers to children developing physical independence and gross and fine motor skills.

The data below relates to the ‘language and cognitive skills’ domain. Assessments in this domain measure children’s basic literacy and numeracy, interest in literacy, numeracy and memory and advanced literacy.
